Theo Braun studied from 1939 to 1941 at the Academy of Applied Arts in Dresden and from 1946 to 1950 at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Between 1949 and 1967 Braun was first an assistant and then a lecturer at the Technical University of Vienna (today: TU Vienna). He lived until his last in Brunn am Gebirge. In 1959, Theo Braun took part in the documenta 2 in Kassel in the graphics department and in the Sao Paulo Biennale. In 1976, he was awarded the Lower Austrian Culture Prize for Fine Arts.
Work
