Origin
The origin of both works concerns the Vada folder 1967/68: “Eight drawings by Vincent van Gogh”. A limited edition (New Year's gift) for relations of the Vada printing company, to which, among others, Ir. Vincent W. van Gogh (full cousin of his namesake painter Vincent van Gogh) contributed and wrote the text.
The back of the frames are provided with a certificate of origin. On it is a copy of the numbered back of the framed drawing and the description from the folder.

The Vada folders about Vincent van Gogh (but also those about Isaac Israels, Dick Ket, Jan Toorop
and Jean Baptiste Madou) are produced using the copper intaglio printing process and are characterised by a high-quality and lifelike image of the original.


There are 2 works from a special edition. The Vada folders are rare after almost 60 years and of antiquarian significance.
