Wiegman, but developed as an autodidact into an excellent landscape and maritime painter and was a member of the BKK in Amsterdam. He worked in Norway, among other places, and his work is included in the Stedelijk Museum in Schiedam, the Tromso Museum and National Gallery in Oslo.
