Rustige stadsbeelden in sterk grafisch handschrift, daarmee toont Wim van Willegen de karakteristieke plekjes van plaatsen als Hellevoetsluis, Brielle, Goedereede en Zaandam. Vereenvoudigde straatbeelden met een forse contour. In Holland staat een huis De zeefdrukken zien er verraderlijk simpel uit, maar zijn in werkelijkheid de optelsom van een groot aantal verschillende drukgangen, door de kunstenaar met zorg bij elkaar gezocht. De werkwijze past helemaal in het oeuvre van de kunstenaar ‘die groot werd door klein te blijven’.
