Frank Lodeizen is a Dutch artist. As a young war orphan, Lodeizen made friends among the group of poets called the Vijftigers, and he spent time with the artists of the Cobra movement and discovered pencil, gouache and etching needles for himself. He becomes a well-known figure in the Amsterdam gallery and art world. Frank Lodeizen often collaborates with poets and writers. Frank Lodeizen is also called the poet of the drypoint. Nature remains his main source of inspiration.

The 1st exhibition of Frank Lodeizen is opened in 1949 in Cafe Reijnders by Remco Campert.
