West Germany

filters

West Germany is the umbrella name for ceramics made in post-war West Germany, particularly in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. The objects were made in small editions and series and are also affordable, making West Germany very attractive for collectors. The objects are recognizable by their distinctive shapes and experimental glazes. The ceramists were not afraid to use bright and striking colors for glazes and accents.
