Herbert Jeffrey Hancock (born April 12, 1940) is an American jazz pianist and composer. Herbie Hancock is considered one of the most influential jazz musicians of the second half of the twentieth century, a status comparable to that of his mentor Miles Davis. In his music he also uses elements from funk, rock, blues, soul, gospel and classical music. He plays piano, keyboard and synthesizer. This original poster is the first print of the album's graphic promotion. It was for promotional use only and not available for commercial sale. Later reproductions, while decorative, have no real value. They were usually seen in music store windows, etc. and were often only present for a week or two after being hung. Finding these in new or mint condition is rare is in near perfect condition. Both the cover and the record itself are in undamaged condition and show no signs of wear. The sound has no imperfections when the record is played. | |||||||||||
