Bladmaat: 60 cm x 78 cm
Jef Diederen (1920-2009) schilder en graficus, hij behoorde tot de zogenoemde 'Amsterdamse Limburgers'. Hij kreeg zijn opleiding eerst in Maastricht aan de Kunstnijverheidsschool en later, vanaf 1943 aan de Rijksacademie in Amsterdam. Karel Appel en Corneille waren zijn studiegenoten. Hij werkte aanvankelijk realistisch maar later zeer abstract.
