Het lijkt wel echt! Het deurtje van een kippenhok, ooit begonnen als bord voor een onbewoonbaar verklaarde woning, heeft Jopie zo precies nageschilderd dat het hout wel echt leek, met een spinnenweb achter het raampje.
N.B. Van het Jopie Huisman Museum is een bewijs van authenticiteit in mijn bezit!
Dat er zo weinig werken van Huisman in omloop zijn, heeft te maken met het feit dat hij heel weinig werk heeft verkocht. Liever gaf hij af en toe een tekening of schilderij weg aan mensen die hem na aan het hart lagen!
