The lithograph comes from the 'magic box' that was published at the time and where 20 artists and 20 poets joined forces.

The whole is in new condition. The work has always been folded in half in the box. There is also a fold line in the middle, but that was the intention.


Lucebert (pronounced: loetsjəbert), pseudonym of Lubertus Jacobus Swaanswijk (Amsterdam, September 15, 1924 – Alkmaar, May 10, 1994) was a Dutch poet and painter. As a poet, he was seen as the leader of the movement of the Vijftigers, a progressive group of poets that began experimenting with form and content after the Second World War. As a painter he was closely involved in the Amsterdam branch of the experimental Cobra group. In 2018 a biography by Wim Hazeu was published. In his younger years he obeyed the call to report for the German Arbeitseinsatz. he then worked as a forced laborer in the German arms industry.
