Nicole Schaap heeft in de kunstwereld een unieke eigen stijl ontwikkeld, haar kunstwerken zijn veelal abstracte landschappen met een sterk verhalend karakter. In haar schilderijen weet zij op virtuoze wijze haar architectonisch lijnenspel te combineren met een scala aan subtiele kleuren. Dit resulteert in krachtig, sterk maar zeer verfijnd werk.
De combinatie van los opgezette structuren, figuratie, kleurgebruik ingetogen maar wel fris en sprankelend en altijd oog voor de verfijnde details zorgen voor een gelaagdheid in haar schilderijen waar je steeds weer nieuwe dingen in ontdekt. Nicole Schaap weet met haar schilderijen een speciale emotie bij de kijker los te maken waardoor haar werk de kijker altijd raakt en boeit.
Zelf is Nicole Schaap altijd een groot bewonderaar geweest van kunstenaars zoals Karel Appel, Picasso en Miro.
Door de jaren heen heeft Nicole haar originaliteit, creativiteit en eigenheid ruimschoots bewezen en worden haar doeken aan bedrijven en particulieren in binnen-en buitenland verkocht.
