She studied pedagogy and later studies in silk painting and textile design. Painting turned out to be perfect for her and she followed in the footsteps of her father and painter Nico Molenkamp. (1920-1998). Her oil paintings are mainly inspired by the many walks along the sea and in the dunes. She tries to capture impressions while painting in color and line and to recreate them in lyrical compositions.
