Foelsch, born 1965 and living in Paris and Berlin is one of the most successfull German contemporarian photographers. She is well known for her studies on the new architectonic in Berlin and Europe. She does a subjective way of photography in the tradition of Renger - Patzsch and Bernd and Hilla Becher. Furthermore she did a new series of ironic snapshots of fashion, nude and portraits which allow her to be the most independend female photographer. Foelschs photographs were multiple prize-winning such as "The first international ABB photo award, Zuerich 1999" and "Prize of the European Council 2000, Strassburg". Her work has been exhibited: EXPO-Hannover 2000; Zitadelle Spandau / Galerie Eichinger Berlin 2002, Palais Schiller Berlin 2003 etc. and sold on auctions.
