Paula Lane, actress. An actress known for her resemblance to Marilyn Monroe. She starred in the film: Goodnight, Sweet Marilyn, a 1989 film directed by Larry Buchanan.
Currently, the archive is run by Bruno's daughter. And he prints new photographs from old negatives and stamps them with "Copyright." But in our photo it is an old stamp of a photo studio. And this is important: a handwritten description of the photo. In capital letters. This is typical of Bruno Bernard. On the back, in block letters, Bruno Bernard wrote:
PAUL LANE Marilyn Monroe look a like.

Below are photos of the stamp from the photo studio.
An article in the English newspaper The Telegraph featured a photo of Paula Lane taken by Bruno Bernard. Our photo is taken from a different perspective, but we see the same interior and even the same shoes.
Bruno Bernard (February 2, 1912 – June 3, 1987), also known as Bernard of Hollywood, was an American photographer best known for his pin-up and glamor photographs of Marilyn Monroe and others.
In the 1980s Bernard lived in Palm Springs. And next. Auction houses mainly sell photographs of Marylyn Monroe. So this is a rare photo. This is a photo of a girl who looks like Marilyn and was her doppelganger back then. She appeared in films and commercials.
