JIDEONWOR GABRIEL (UDOKA)
emergent Nigerian artist born in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1991.
By the intermediary of his Dutch and EU private representative presents ;
4 Acrylic paintings on canvas from a series of 6, part of the exhibition : Gazes (Time), exhibited in the Netherlands in the 2019.
The paintings are sold individually in the Netherlands but can also be bought as a mini series.
Each painting comes, unframed, with a certificate of authenticity signed by the painter.
The young painter, was educated at Lagos State Polytechnic where he graduated in Art and Industrial Design in 2015 with an HND in Painting. He has exhibited a lot abroad since.
In 2018 he also created a gallery “Vivid Exclusive Art gallery”, now mostly online. Some of his previous works are also available on his site (under revision).
Art was and still is his escape from life and offers him a hopeful future. His distinctive style fuses neo-expressionism with impressionism and realism - he is also a born colourist.
At the moment his focus is on urban youth and city life in Africa.
